These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the HMK Tools website (hmktools.com) and the HMK Tools add-ins for Autodesk Revit (the “Software”). By creating an account or using the Software, you agree to these Terms.
1. License
Subject to these Terms and payment of any applicable fees, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software for your internal professional use. Each license is valid for a single machine at a time; you can release and re-activate it on a new computer from your dashboard.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your password and license key confidential. You must not share your license key or allow unauthorized use of your account.
3. Free trial
We offer a 30-day free trial with full access and no payment required. We may limit trials to one per user and per machine to prevent abuse. When the trial ends, continued use requires a valid license.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Copy, resell, sublicense, rent, or redistribute the Software or your license key.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to circumvent licensing or security measures, except where permitted by law.
- Use the Software in any unlawful way or in a manner that disrupts our services.
5. Fees and payment
Paid licenses are billed as described at the time of purchase. Unless required by law or stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable. We may change our prices, with changes applying to future purchases or renewals.
6. Intellectual property
The Software, website, and all related intellectual property are owned by us. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you beyond the limited license granted above.
7. Third-party software
HMK Tools works with Autodesk Revit but is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Autodesk. Revit is a trademark of Autodesk, Inc. You are responsible for holding your own valid Revit license.
8. Disclaimer
The Software is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Software will be error-free or uninterrupted. Always review results before relying on them in production work.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or work, arising from your use of the Software. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the license in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Software and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Software abusively.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and disputes are subject to the courts of Türkiye, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
